I can't believe April is HERE; reason why I wanted to do my little wishlist for this month- that way I know what I'm looking for at the mall. Last month I didn't get to buy a couple of pieces I wanted; but I'm so excited about the ones above. Click "read more"  to see a little description of each piece.

Old pics: let's have dinner!

Like I said on the previous post, I really want to share some of my favorite outfits. I've been dying to wear this again, I think it looks super feminine and cute!  I felt in love when I saw these shoes on my showroom in shoedazzle. If you are not a member yet, here's an invitation to become a Shoedazzle member. I found this bag at a thrift store called "Douglas Thrift Store" at North Miami Beach- it's vintage but it's in perfect condition. I remember that day we had dinner with a couple of friends at my house, we cooked sushi- well.. the guys cooked it while we gossiped .

Como les dije en el post anterior, quiero compartir con ustedes algunos outfits "viejos"- sobre todo mis favoritos. He querido ponerme esto otra vez, me encanta que se ve super femenino. Los zapatos son de Shoedazzle, me enamoré apenas los vi- aparte son super cómodos. Si quieren unirse a este servicio, aquí está mi invitación para ser miembro. Sobre mi cartera: la conseguí en un sitio vintage y de cosas usadas en el norte de Miami Beach. Me acuerdo que ese día hicimos una reunión en mi casa- cocinamos sushi... bueno, los hombres cocinaron mientras las mujeres chismeabamos un ratito!.

Black & Tan!

Don't you have a party dress that you loved and would like to wear more often? I bought this dress a couple of years ago- and I haven't worn it since Christmas of 2008. Reason why I challenged my self to transform it into a daytime dress- or at least I tried. What do you think?  I also love how the black looks with tan.

¿No les ha pasado que tienen un vestido de fiesta que les encanta y les gustaría usarlos más seguido?  Este vestido lo compré hace 2 años y medio- y no me lo había puesto desde Navidad del 2008 poque sentía que no había ninguna ocasión apropiada. Razón por la que me reté a mi misma a transformarlo en un vestido de día- o al menos eso intenté. ¿Qué dicen? ¿lo logré? También me encanta la combinación del negro con el "tan".

Old pics: in NYC

I've been taking pictures of my daily outfits for almost a year now; it wasn't until last month that I decided I wanted to open a blog in English too. I have so many pics in my computer with outfits that I love that I want to share them with you. I lived in NYC last year for a couple of months, I got a job offer there but the cold kicked me out- among other things! The best part of taking pics every day is that when you see it, you remember exactly what you did. 

He estado tomando fotos de mis outfits diarios por casi un año; no fue hasta hace un mes que decidí que quería expandirme y escribir en ingles también. Tengo tantas fotos en mi foto de outfits que me encantan que de verdad quiero compartirlos con ustedes- y espero que les gusten. El año pasado viví en Nueva York por un par de meses, me ofrecieron trabajo allá pero el frío me botó- entre otras cosas. La mejor parte de tomar fotos todos los días es que cuando las ves, te acuerdas exactamente que hiciste y como la pasaste :)

Oxford shoes!

Another extremely hot day in Miami; reason why I wanted to wear a light shirt and super short shorts. I've seen a lot of celebrities wearing a knotted shirt, and I think it makes the outfit look more casual and relaxed than if it was tucked in. I paired it with these new oxford shoes and my little quilted bag from Mimi Boutique. About my day, I had breakfast with Catherine from Beauty by Cat. Later, my bf and I headed to the pool- I tanned and read a magazine while he swam. Finally, we watched a movie at home!

Otro día super caliente en Miami, así que opté por shorts y una camisa delgada amarrada. He visto a muchas celebridades usando esta tendencia y me gusta el aire relajado que le da a cualquier look. Lo combiné con estos oxfords que compré hace poco y mi carterita de Mimi Boutique. El día empezó yendo a comer con Catherine de Beauty by Cat; comimos arepas. Luego el calor nos llevó a mi novio y a mi a la piscina de la urbanización. Tomamos sol y yo estuve leyendo una revista. Después de eso, vimos una película en la casa y listo.. muy dominguero el día. 

Some "pop of chic" in my life!

I woke up super tired because of the bday party the day before; nobody wanted to leave and it was extremely late. Reason why I just wanted to be comfortable to have lunch and do some errands. I wanted to wear this lace tee- AGAIN; I would wear it more often if I could. When I was ready, I checked my mail and some accessories from Pop of Chic have arrived. I didn't even think it twice, I changed my accessories because I couldn't wait to wear them. I really recommend you Pop of Chic, they have amazing stuff at amazing prices! I'm wearing the same bag again, I just like have what I need and this bag is perfect for that. I hope you are having a great weekend, and thanks for your lovely comments!

Me desperté cansadísima de la fiesta el día anterior en mi casa; era tardísimo y nadie se quería ir. Razón por la que quería estar cómoda para ir a comer y hacer un par de diligencias. He estado usando tanto esta camisa de encaje, me encanta; si fuera por mi creo que me la pondría más seguido aún. Cuando ya estaba lista, fui a revisar el correo y me habían llegado estos zarcillos/aretes y anillo de Pop of Chic; y me los puse de inmediato! Son una belleza, de verdad que les recomiendo que pasen por Pop Of Chic y chequeen todo lo que Cynthia vende, aparte de que todos los precios son accesibles. Tampoco me he querido cambiar la carterita por comodidad, aparte que ultimamente no me gusta llevar una cartera tan grande- prefiero tener solo lo necesario a la mano. Gracias por sus lindos comentarios siempre, me sacan mil sonrisas:)

VS event and bday celebration!

Yesterday was one of those extremely long days; it started with a Victoria Secret event at Miami Beach- I'll tell you all about it on another post. I went with two friends and we had so much fun: we drank &ate, met one of the new angels- and took photos with her, talked with the guy who created every single perfume in VS, and had a love tarot reading. After that, I had to run back home because of my bf's bday celebration. I wanted to change clothes but I didn't have time. I'm so happy that he had a good time, all of his friends came and they didn't want to  leave either.

Ayer fue uno de esos días larguísimos. Empezó en un evento de Victoria Secret que pronto escribiré sobre eso y compartiré fotos de como nos fue, fui con dos amigas y de verdad que la pasamos excelente. Conocimos a una de las nuevas modelos de VS, nos leyeron las cartas, comimos, estuvimos hablando con el creador de todos los perfumes y más. Después de eso tuve que salir corriendo a mi casa porque era la celebración del cumpleaños de mi novio, tenía pensado cambiarme pero no me dió tiempo así que terminé usando esto mismo. De verdad que el la pasó excelente, todos sus amigos vinieron y estuvieron hasta tarde.

My boyfriend's bday

As I told you, yesterday was my bf's bday. Even though we only were going to eat dinner with a couple of friends, I like to dress up a little bit for special ocassions- everybody else was wearing jeans but I don't care. We went to a sushi place called Umami, it was delicious! We sang "happy birthday" and that was it. The party is tonight! I still can believe that he turned 24, I remember when we spent his 19th birthday together in Venezuela. If you want to read about the outfit I picked, keep reading

Como les conté, ayer fue el cumpleaños de mi novio. Y aunque solo ibamos a comer a un sitio de Sushi que nos encanta con un grupo de amigos, a mi me gusta arreglarme un poco más de lo normal para ocasiones como esta- el resto estaba en jeans pero no importa. El sitio se llama Umami, y comimos riquísimo; le cantamos cumpleaños y listo- la celebración es hoy! Todavía no puedo creer que cumplió 24- me acuerdo cuando celebramos juntos su cumpleaños número 19... como pasa el tiempo.  Más abajo les cuento sobre mi outfit....

My skin-care routine

Mi rutina de belleza (piel).

I love reading what beauty products work for other people; reason why I wanted to share my skin-care routine- then I'll share my hair routine and my fave makeup products. Even though, I tend to change it a lot; this one has worked for me lately. I used the top three products in the morning and at night. Then, I used a 4th product: the one on the left when I wake up and the one on the right before going to bed.

A mi me encanta leer que productos de belleza usa la gente; razón por la que quería compartir mi rutina de belleza. Empiezo hoy con la de la piel, luego le scontaré que productos uso en el cabello y cuales son mis favoritos con respecto al maquillaje. Aunque tiendo a cambiar mi rutina- porque me gusta probar diferentes productos; esta me ha funcionado super bien los últimos mees. Los 3 productos en la primera fila los utilizo todos los días tanto en la mañana como en la noche. Luego agrego un cuarto producto, el de la izquierda en la mañana y el de la derecha antes de dormir.

Nude & Gold

Puede que la primavera acabe de empezar en Estados Unidos, pero hoy en Miami fue un día de VERANO- un calor que ni se imaginan. De esos que si estás en algún tipo de pantalón sientes que te vas a achicharrar, así que obté por un vestido ligero color crema y accesorios. Hoy estuve paseando por el centro comercial como loca buscándole un regalo de cumpleaños a mi novio. Ya creo que tengo una idea de que le voy a regalar- aparte pronto les muestro que me voy a poner en su cumple y en una reunioncita que tengo planeada el fin de semana para celebrarlo con todos los amigos.

Spring might have just started in the US, but it was so hot in Miami today that I would say it's already summer here. It was one of those days that you can't event wear pants or jeans because you feel like you are going to melt. Reason why I decided to wear a nude summer dress with gold and tan accessories. Today I went to the mall, I was trying to find the perfect bday gift for my boyfriend; I never know what to get him. This weekend I'll show you what I'm planning to wear on his birthday and then on a small get together to celebrate it.

Solo quería compartir un poco de mi armario con todas ustedes!

Red rocker!

El día después de comprar estos pantalones los usé, y después de ese día estuve aguantándome, no quería usarlos tantas veces seguidas- pero me encantan! La semana pasada los utilicé con una camisa blanca clásica y unos zapatos azules; hoy quería usar algo más "rocker" y lo combiné con unos botines con taches y una camisa de encaje- la cual es completa de encaje transparentoso pero le agregué un strapless negro abajo para que solo se viera el detalle arriba. Para terminar el look agregué una carterita que compré en una tiendita en Caracas, se que esta diseñadora no hace dos carteras iguales. Sobre mi día: nada del otro mundo, fui a comer con mi novio y paseamos un poquito por Miami.

I wore this pants the day after buying them- and I wanted to wear them since that day but I didn't want to wear them so many times in a week. Last time, I wore them with a classic white blouse and blue shoes to color block; today I wanted to try something more "rocker" so I paired them with studded booties and a lace tee- I added a strapless black top underneath so it's wearable for the day and not completely see -through. I bought this clutch a couple of years ago in Caracas (Venezuela), I know every design is handmade and she doesn't sell the same model twice. About my day: I just went out to eat with my bf and did a little shopping.

The dirty trail...

My great "photographer" and I are still super excited about the camera- and we saw this little trail in the middle on the highway a couple of days ago, so we decided to pull over today (I love that it doesn't look like you are in the middle of the city. I love the floral trend and the weather was perfect today to wear a cute little floral dress with a denim jacket over it. I finished the look with brown/gold accessories. Mi "fotógrafo" y yo todavía estamos super emocionados con la cámara- y hace un par de días vimos un caminito en el medio de la autopista y hoy ecidimos pararnos ya que no se ve como si estuvieras en el medio de la ciudad. Me encanta la tendencia floral y el clima estuvo perfecto hoy para usar un vestido corto de flores con una chaqueta de jean encima. Terminé el look con accesorios marrones/dorados. Sobre mi día, fuimos a comer con unos amigos un almuerzo super tarde! Espero que hayan tenido un bonito fin de semana.

Leopard scarf!

¿Notas algo diferente? A mi novio le regalaron una cámara de cumpleaños y es un espectáculo- de verdad que lo es. No puedo creer lo bien que salieron las fotos en la noche; mi cámara toma las peores fotos ewn la noche. No me quiero imaginar lo increíbles que deben ser las fotos en el día; estoy super emocionada y nisiquiera es mi cámara jajaja.

Sobre mi outfit, la bufanda solía ser una falda larga. Pero después de comprarla me puse a pensar y no estaba segura si me atrevía a salir con tanta tela de leopardo encima. Así que decidí probar mis habilidades y corte la falda ya que esta tenía una tela transparentosa abajo que era perfecta para hacer una falda semi-transparente como las que estan de moda. Pero fallé, al menos ahora tengo una bufanda ligera de leopardo que me encanta. Después de esperar todo el día a que la cámara llegara, fuimos al cine a ver "la caperucita roja", me encantó! No se preocupen que no les voy a decir quien es el lobo :)

Notice anything different? My bf got a new camera and it's AMAZING!- it really is! I can't believe how good the pictures turned out at night; my camera sucks at night. I can't wait to try it during the day, I'm so excited and it's not even my camera lol. 

About my outfit, the scarf used to be a maxi-skirt- after buying it, I was like "I'm not sure I can pull off a leopard maxi-skirt"; so I decided to try my DIY skills -which are not good at all. The skirt came with another fabric underneath, and I wanted to make that into a mesh-maxi skirt; but I failed at that. At least, now I have an amazing leopard summer scarf. After waiting the whole day for the camera to arrive, we went to the movies to watch "little red riding hood", I loved it; don't worry I'm not going to tell you who the werewolf is!

Dinner date

After 4 years, we still love going on dates every week. Yesterday, we went out to eat dinner a have a few drinks. I just wanted to wear something simple and comfortable; reason why I picked high-waisted black shorts and a simple black shirt, I added a fun necklace and nude pumps to make my legs longer- it was Saint Patrick's day but I'm not irish.. AT ALL ( so no green for me). We had so much fun! Get ready, my bf got a new camera for his bday so the pics are going to be much better- you have to see the ones we took today- they look AMAZING!

Después de 4 años, todavía nos encanta salir cada semana a citas super romanticonas. Ayer fuimos a cenar y a tomarnos unos tragos. Por eso quise usar algo simple y cómodo, escogí estos shorts a la cintura y una camisa simple negra; pero quise añadirle un collar de color y zapatos color nude para que mis piernas se vieran más largas. Era el día de San Patricio, pero no tengo absolutamente nada de sangre irlandesa así que nada de verde para mi. La pasamos super bien! Prepárense que a mi novio le regalaron una cámara espectacular por su cumpleaños y las fotos van a sufrir un MAKEOVER- tienen que ver las que tomamos hoy, quedaron espectaculares!

Loving my red pants!

¿Se acuerdan de mi lista de compras para marzo? Una de las piezas que quería eran los pantalones rojos, y los encontré en Zara a buen precio. Creo que se supone que sean más cortos pero como soy tan chiquita que me quedan perfectos de largo. Me inspiré en Chiara de "The Blonde Salad" ya que ella hace poco utilizó sus zapatos azules con todo, incluyéndo unos pantalones naranjas - y de naranja a rojo no hay mucho. Sobre mi día, fui a comer con un grupo de amigos a un sitio griego; comimos hasta más no poder. Luego fuimos a ver la nueva película de Matt Damon: "The Adjustment Bureau"; un poco cursi pero me gustó bastante.

Do you remember my march wishlist? The red pants were there and I was so happy went I found them at Zara- I think they are supposed to be cropped jeans; but I'm so short that they fit just fine. I was inspired by Chiara from "The Blonde Salad" since she wore blue shoes with everything last week- including some orange jeans (close to red, right?). About my day, I went out to have dinner with a group of friends at a greek restaurant; then we watched "The Adjustment Bureau" with Matt Damon- a little bit corny at the end but I loved it!

Bday at Barú

Este fin salí dos veces, lo que es muchísimo para mi; creo que soy una viejita.El sábado era el cumpleaños uno de mis mejores amigos; primero fuimos a su casa y no tienen idea la cantidad de comida que había. Como buen argentino, había carne, carne y más carne. Después de comer y cantar cumpleaños, nos fuimos a un sitio que se llama "Barú"- estuvo super chevere!Sobre mi outfit, les cuento que  las dos últimas noches hizo un frío horrible- y raro porque ya es marzo, no se supone que esté bajando la temperatura. Aunque parece que tengo un vestido negro (que es una buena opción también); tengo una falda negra- y una camisa de encaje negra.

I'm not a party girl; I prefer to stay home and watch a movie. However, this weekend I went out twice. This pics were taken on Saturday, one of my best friends was turning 23 so my bf and I went to his house- there was so much food, you have no idea. Then we went to a "nightclub" called Barú, it was super fun. About my outfit, it was extremely cold (for Miami)- which is weird because it's already March!  I wanted to wear my cropped trench again so I paired it with a black skirt and a lace top.

Socks & heels!

Ayer fue el último día que mi amiga iba a estar en Miami, así que fui a almorzar con ella y su familia a un sitio de all you can eat de sushi- que ya he mencionado bastante acá porque me encanta. Luego la llevé al aereopuerto para seguir de largo y acompañar a mi novio a comprar unas medias ahí para hacer ejercicio (super random, lo sé). He estado intentando nuevas tendencias,  y esta me encanta solo que no estaba segura porque soy super chiquita y no quería cortar mis piernas más aún. Lo mejor de todo fue que cuando estabamos paseando para llegar a la tienda, escuché a dos muchachas diciendo que primera vez que veían a alguien usando tacones con medias y que de verdad funcionara- me sentí super! Ahí no termino mi día, tengo fotos de la noche así que les cuento después! Un beso

My friend from Venezuela was leaving yesterday; so we had sushi for lunch and they I took her to the airport. Then, my bf needed to buy some socks ( yeah, super random) - at least it was at this cute place where you can walk (the lighting was terrible, reason why I took a couple of pictures).  This blog is making me try new trends, I really want to experiment with my style; reason why I wore socks&heels. I was a little worried because I'm super short and I didn't want them to make me look shorter. However, when we were walking around, I heard a girl say to her friends " look, someone wearing socks and heels and it actually looks good". Later that day we went to a close friend bday party, I'll post the outfit tomorrow xoxo

Colorful bangles!

One of my bffs from Venezuela is in Miami so I wanted to spend as much time as possible with her. We went out to eat sushi at this amazing place on Sunset called Sushi Maki, then we walked around the mall but we didn't find anything. Then, we ate ice cream and talked like crazy ( I think we drove my bf crazy!) About my hair, I used the Fahrenheit 4-1 clipless iron (the bigger iron), and I LOVE it! Una de mis mejores amigas de venezuela está en Miami de visita, así que quería aprovechar y verla lo más posible. Fuimos a comer a un sitio riquísimo en el Sunset llamado Sushi Maki, y luego nos pusimos a caminar en el mall pero no encontramos nada que nos encantara. Luego fuimos a comer helado y chismeamos como locas (pobre de mi novio!) Sobre mi cabello, utilicé la rizadora que había puesto en mi wishlist de marzo; la cual es 4-1 de Fahrenheit, y me encanta como quedo. Miami Beach...

A friend was celebrating his bday at the beach and we didn't even think twice about going- I needed to tan, I haven't being this pale in my life. When I woke up, it was sunny and perfect for the beach; but the closer we got there, the cloudier and colder it got. It was fun: we ate and we drank a little. However, I couldn't handle the cold so we went to get ready for the movies. We watched HALL PASS, I loved it. I hope you had a great weekend and thank you so much for stopping by :)

Fuimos a la playa porque era el cumpleaños de un amigo, y ni lo pensamos dos veces porque la blancura que tengo no es normal- suelo ser mucho más dorada que esto. El día estaba espectacular pero entre más nos acercabamos a la playa, más nublado y frío se ponía. Estuvimos ahí un rato, compartimos, comimos y tomamos un poco. Pero el frío nos termino de botar, fuimos a comer para luego arreglarnos para ir al cine. Vimos HALL PASS, me gustó bastante. Bright Blazer!

Remember my March Wishlist? Today I got my 4-in-1 clipless iron. I wanted to try it asap, I used the bigger iron, and I loved it. It looks super natural and I didn't have to brush my hair or anything.I have to admit, during yesterday's photoshoot the model was wearing a red blazer and I remembered I had one just like it- and it hadn't worn it in a while. I paired it wit a simple black outfit and summer scarf. I went to have lunch, then I spent some time with one of my best friends from Venezuela and I'm about to go to the movies!

¿Se acuerdan de las compras que quería hacer en marzo? Hoy me llego mi tenaza 4 en 1 y quería usarla lo antes posible. Utilicé la tenaza más grande y me encantó; se ve super natural y no tuve que peinar mi cabello ni nada por el estilo (solo un poco de laca). Tengo que admitir que me inspiré en un outfit que vi ayer, una conocida tenía un blazer rojo muy parecido a este y me acorde que no lo había usado en un buen tiempo. Lo combiné con piezas simples negras y una bufanda de flores de H&M. Fui a comer, pasé un rato con una amiga de Venezuela que etsá de visita, y ahora creo que vamos al cine!
